"Ancient and Unknown" is an impressionistic oil painting inspired by the song of the same name by Matt Hornell and the Diamond Minds. 09/23/08 It's been quite a while since my last update, but I have finally finished a new painting. Recently I've done some experimenting with coffee as a painting medium. It's quite an interesting medium, using the same techniques as watercolor (with wich I had previously had little experience). After much trial and error, "Coffee Beach" was born. I have tentatively made this painting available for sale. It is currently unframed. My plan is to do 3 or 4 more related paintings, frame them all the same, and perhaps have them displayed publically as a group. Money was raised, and good times were had by all! I hope the new owner of "Follow Me" enjoys it as much as I enjoyed creating it! :) 04/20/08 I've uploaded a new drawing: "Follow Me: Female Mallard and Ducklings."
